How to post a request on Bricolat

Posting a home service request on Bricolat only takes a few minutes. This guide walks you through describing your project, adding useful photos, and setting a realistic budget, so you can quickly receive quotes from verified tradespeople near you.

Click on “Post a request”

From the Bricolat homepage, click the blue “Post a request” button at the top right of the navigation bar, or “Post my request” in the center of the page. Both buttons open the same form.

Step 1: describe your project

The form opens on step 1: choose a service category, give your request a short title, and describe the problem or project in a few sentences. An examples box helps you know what to write.

Choose your category from the list

Click the category field to open the list: plumbing, electrical, painting, and many more. You can also type directly to filter and find your trade faster.

A concrete example of a completed step 1

For example, for a 12000 BTU air conditioner installation in Maârif, your title could be “AC installation in living room” and your description could specify the room, the desired power, and the current state of the installation.

Step 2: add photos and your address

Click on the designated areas or drag and drop up to 3 photos of your project. Then fill in your region, city, and address so tradespeople know where to intervene.

Enter your city with autocomplete

Start typing your city name: a suggestion appears automatically, for example “Casablanca — Casablanca-Settat.” Select it to fill in the field correctly.

Step 3: give an indicative budget

Choose a range from the options provided (under 500 MAD, 500 to 1000 MAD, 1000 to 2000 MAD, over 2000 MAD) or select “I don’t know.” A note reminds you that this budget is indicative and non-binding.

Create your account to publish your request

A “Finalize your request” window opens: enter your first name, last name, email, phone number, and password, then click “Create and publish.” You can also continue with Google to go faster.

What happens next: quotes arrive within hours

Most requests receive 2 to 3 quotes within a few hours, directly on your request: you are alerted by Bricolat notification and by email as soon as a quote arrives. You can then compare, ask questions through the built-in messaging, and choose the tradesperson who suits you best, without ever sharing your phone number until you’re ready.

You pay nothing to receive quotes

Posting a request and receiving proposals is completely free on Bricolat. You only pay the tradesperson once the work is done and approved.
